Andrew Jeffrey Canniff

Andrew Jeffrey Canniff, born on April 9, 1991, in Wausau, Wisconsin, entered the arms of his loving Savior on Thursday, October 30, 2025. He was 34 years old.

Andrew was born the youngest child of Jeffrey and Debra (Hundt) Canniff, and brother to Stephanie and Crystal. He grew up attending St. Peter Lutheran School and graduated from D.C. Everest Senior High in 2009. Andrew went on to earn two college degrees, a B.S. in Accounting and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point, in 2013.

Andrew most recently made his mark as a Senior Finance and Operations Analyst for Century Supply Chain Solutions. His dedication to his work exemplified not only his commitment to excellence but also his caring nature.

A lifelong member of St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church, Andrew's foundation of faith guided him throughout his life. He was confirmed in the Lutheran faith on May 1, 2005, and served his Lord as an usher and member of the finance committee - roles that resonated with his desire to give back to his congregation. Sundays were special to the Canniff family and would bring them together for dinner and family time. Andrew was always happy, easy to talk to, and known for his playful sense of humor, particularly when lovingly teasing his family and friends. His ability to spread joy came as naturally to him as anything else. Among his hobbies, Andrew was passionate about cooking and baking, especially enjoyed perfecting the art of making beef jerky.

His proudest accomplishment, however, was being Uncle to his nieces and nephew. The joy they brought to his life was immeasurable, and the love they shared in return to Andrew brought light to his life.

Andrew is survived by his loving parents, Jeffrey and Debra Canniff of Weston; his sisters, Stephanie (Craig) Mootz and Crystal (Chris) Grefe, both of Merrill; his cherished nieces and nephew, Olivia and Ryder Mootz, and Willow and Taelynn Grefe; and his grandfather, Vilas Hundt of Hustisford; as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is further survived by his special companion and dog, Cupid, who accompanied him on walks twice a day.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Verne Hundt; his paternal grandparents, Gordon and Marcella Canniff; and his uncle and godfather, Jim Hundt.

Andrew's funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church, 1351 S. Grand Avenue, Schofield. Pastor Jeffrey Mahnke and Pastor Kevin Schnake will officiate. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025, from 4:00 - 7:00 PM and again from 9:30 AM until the time of service on Tuesday, all at the church. Private interment will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the St. Peter Lutheran School Building Fund.

Andrew approached life with a genuine smile and a joyful spirit - may his memory be a blessing to all the lives he touched.
