Ben Koski

Ben Koski of Rothschild, Wisconsin passed away on August 5, 2026, at Aspirus Hospice House, with his beloved wife at his side.

Ben was born September 12, 1964, in Stambaugh, Michigan, the sixth son of Konstant Koski Jr. and Leona (Beckman) Koski. He graduated from the West Iron County School system in 1982. He eventually moved to Colorado where he met Carolyn Bon, who became his wife. They were married on November 26, 1988, and continued to live and work in Colorado until 1992, when they moved to Wausau, Wisconsin where Ben worked as a custom cabinet maker until his retirement.

Ben enjoyed hockey, football, cats and listening to the radio, especially bluegrass music.

Ben was preceded in death by both parents and his brothers, Wayne, Roy and John and his nephew Joe. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn, brothers Glen and David, sisters-in-law Joy, Donna, Leanne and Lois Lathrop, numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.

Memorials may be given to the Portage County Humane Society (in honor of his precious cat Fleur).

A small, informal celebration of life will be held at a later date.
