Carol Jean Geurink

Carol Jean (Luebbe) Geurink, 87, of Birnamwood, died peacefully at her home surrounded by family on March 7, 2025.

Carol was born to the late Emil & Sophie (Gut) Luebbe on May 3, 1937. She was united in marriage to Gerald H. Geurink on July 20, 1957, at Forestville Church, Town of Easton.

Carol was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Ringle, where she served on The Ladies Aide and sang in the choir. She loved her flowers, watching the birds, and sewing. Carol was a 4-H leader for 20 years, farmed for 30 years, and loved to camp and travel.

She is survived by her husband, Gerald; sons; Todd (Karri) Geurink and Dan (Rhonda) Geurink; grandchildren, Adam (Amanda), Amanda (Shawn), Autumn (Levi) Young, Alexander, Christopher, Kevin (ShyAnne), Carl, Keith and Cheyanne; great-grandchildren, Grace, Meadow, and one on the way.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 17, 2025, at Grace Ev. Lutheran Church, R169950 Chapel St., Ringle. Pastor Andrew Buschkopf will officiate. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the time of service at the church. Interment will be in Forestville Cemetery, Town of Easton.
