Carrol Eugene Pittsley Jr., a devoted husband, father, and friend, passed away on April 5, 2025, at the age of 83, in Wausau, Wisconsin. Born on March 9, 1942, in Wisconsin, the son of Carrol and Mildred (Dobberstein) Pittsley, Carrol was a man of many passions, known for his hard work ethic and unwavering dedication to his family.

A proud workaholic, Carrol dedicated many years of his life as a truck driver, navigating the roads with both skill and tenacity. His career was a testament to his diligent and dedicated nature. He was not only known for his professionalism but also for his ability to engage anyone he encountered — a true talker with the gift of gab, he could strike up a conversation easily, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of meeting him.

Carrol enjoyed an array of hobbies and interests that reflected his vibrant spirit. He cherished the thrill of driving racecars, the excitement of watching NASCAR, and the camaraderie of cheering on his beloved Green Bay Packers and UW Badger football teams. Breakfast outings with his posse of friends from church were a highlight for him, especially when they indulged in his favorite potato pancakes. Additionally, Carrol had a deep appreciation for the great outdoors and often spent time camping and four-wheeling.

Throughout his life, Carrol found pride in his accomplishments, one of which included significant involvement in the 525 snowmobile races, where his contributions left a mark within the community.

Carrol will be remembered fondly by his family. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Pittsley, and children: Todd (Tracy) Pittsley, Kristine (Bruce) Paiser, Lisa (Tom) Bapp, David Pittsley, Ken (Leigh) Pittsley, and Alesha (Tyler) Kraemer. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Diane Wunsch, and his brothers, Larry (Diane) Pittsley, Leon (Sharon) Pittsley, and Dan (Rita) Pittsley, along with his brother-in-law, Todd (Lori) Wunsch. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

In the hearts of his loved ones, Carrol Eugene Pittsley Jr. leaves behind a legacy of support, joy, and unconditional love.
