Celestine Tesch, also known as Tudy, age 78, of Wausau, Wisconsin, passed away on June 28, 2026.
Born on September 3, 1947, in Holcomb, Wisconsin. The daughter of Henry and Melba (Towle) Pahl. Celestine was, above all, a person devoted to her family. She cherished every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, holding each member of her family close to her heart and making them feel valued and loved in her special way. Those she cared for will remember her unfailing kindness, her curiosity, and her joy in both everyday moments and family milestones.
A gifted jewelry maker, Celestine had a creative spirit and a gentle hand. She found her passion in crafting beautiful, meaningful pieces, which she often gifted to loved ones. Her talents were a reflection of her character unique, thoughtful, and always shining with her warmth.
Tudy had a reputation as a good Samaritan and a genuinely good person. She was always willing to go out of her way to help others, embodying compassion in her actions and her words. She delighted in the simple pleasures of life, from running errands with zest earning her the affectionate title of "runner arounder" to browsing her favorite shops. Shopping was more than a pastime for Celestine; it was a source of connection and joy, an opportunity to think of others and perhaps find a small treasure to brighten someone’s day.
