Charles Ray Eno, affectionately known as Chuck, entered the arms of his Savior on November 13, 2024, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. Born to the late Leon and Leoda (Adams) Eno on August 11, 1940, in Lincoln, Nebraska, Chuck grew to become a figure of warmth, motivation, and relentless ambition, leaving an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know him.
Chuck was a heavily motivated entrepreneur and organizer, often characterized by his unwavering dedication to his goals and dreams. He was a dreamer who had big aspirations, embodying a spirit that propelled him towards new heights at every turn. Chuck's presence enriched gatherings whether within the family, at church, or among friends. His remarkable ability to cherish every moment, paired with his profound love for his family and community, was evident in all he pursued.
He was known for his myriad interests, which demonstrated the depth of his character. A passionate fisherman, he found solace casting lines in the serene waters of Canada and shared the thrill of deer hunting with family and friends. He was captivated by classical orchestral music and abilities in woodworking illustrated his creative side, while his fascination with history and the tenets of the U.S. Constitution and government reflected his thoughtful, analytical mind. Notably, Chuck made a run for the 85th District Assembly seat, aspiring to serve his community further.
Chuck loved watching and supporting his grandchildren in their sporting and music endeavors. His heart resided with his faith, where he was heavily involved in church leadership, guiding fellow congregants with a steady hand and compassionate spirit.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Sue Eno; children, Joyce Eno, Debra (Todd) Evers, and Chuck (Beth) Eno II; grandchildren, Kristi, Derek, Amber, Alisha, Megan, Bryce, and Tyler; as well as great-grandchildren, Autumm and Abbygail. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Laura (Todd) Koenig; and brother, Gilbert Eno.
