Cheryl "Cheri" Knowles

Cheryl (Cheri) Knowles of Wausau, WI, passed away on March 7, 2025, at Aspirus Hospital in Wausau, WI. She was born on June 8, 1945, to William and Edna (Weed) Duernberger. Cheri graduated from Antigo High School, Class of 1963.

On September 18, 1965, she married Blaine Knowles, he survives. This year they would celebrate 60 years of marriage.

She worked in Financial Sales/Marketing at Freeman Shoes in Beloit, WI for many years. Prior to retiring she worked for Prairie Nursery in Westfield, WI in financial Sales/Marketing for twenty plus years.

Including her husband she is survived by 3 sisters-in-law Sandy Duernberger of Antigo, La Vonne Duernberger of Wausau, Jackie (Neil) Twichell of Eaton Rapids, MI; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents William and Edna Duernberger, a sister Dolores Marx, two brothers: Ronald L Duernberger Sr., William C Duernberger, Brother-in-law, Robert Marx, and a nephew Regan Duernberger, plus One Great Nephew Craig Marx.

Private burial service will be held at a later date at Elmwood Cemetery in Antigo, WI.
