Diane Pukala

Diane Angelina Pukala, age 71, of Wausau, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2026. Diane was born in Chicago, Illinois, to Walerian and Aniela (Dlugosz) Zabawa.

Diane was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Pukala, with whom she shared many cherished years of marriage. She was a loving mother to Jennifer Pukala, Jessica Pukala, and Christopher (Jessica) Pukala. She was a cherished grandmother to Owen Bates, Jack Bates, and Maxwell Pukala.

Diane will be remembered for the love she gave so freely to her family and for the special place she held in the hearts of those who knew her. Her family was her greatest joy, and she treasured the time spent with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Christopher (Jessica) Pukala; daughters, Jennifer Pukala and Jessica Pukala; grandchildren, Owen Bates, Jack Bates and Maxwell Pukala; brother, John (Patricia) Zabawa; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Diane was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph Pukala; parents, Walerian and Aniela Zabawa; and brothers, Stanley and Walter Zabawa.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends. Her memory will live on through the family she loved so dearly.
