Frank Decker

Frank Decker, also known as Joe, age 80, of Weston, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, on July 13, 2026.

Frank was born on July 12, 1946, in Wisconsin, the son of Frank and Neva (Sulik) Decker. On May 27, 1967, he married the love of his life, Judy Feldbruegge, and together they shared 59 wonderful years of marriage.

Throughout his life, Frank found joy in life's simple pleasures. He had a passion for woodworking, hunting, fishing, and camping, reflecting his love of both nature and craftsmanship. Whether working with his hands or enjoying the quiet beauty of the outdoors, Frank was truly at home. Music—especially polka—held a special place in his heart and often filled family gatherings with laughter, dancing, and togetherness.

Frank was blessed with a remarkable sense of humor that drew people to him and endeared him to everyone who knew him. His presence brought smiles and laughter, making even ordinary days memorable. Above all, Frank cherished time spent with his family, treasuring every opportunity to create lasting memories together.

Frank is lovingly survived by his wife, Judy; his children, Angela (Kevin) Holz, Julie (Kenny) Meis, and Jason Decker; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Christopher, Amber, and Kayla; his great-grandchildren, Barbara and Conner; and his siblings, Rachel and Mike.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Neva Decker, and his siblings, Fred, Chris, and Claudette.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Frank's honor on Friday, July 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church, 113 W. Kort Street, Schofield. Fr. Janusz Kowalski will officiate. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. Frank will be laid to rest following the service at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Kronenwetter.
