Jack W. Petrowski, Jr.

Jack Wayne Petrowski, Jr., 67, of Wausau, passed away on September 17, 2026, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

Jack was born to the late Jack W. Petrowski, Sr., and Annie D. Cude on June 9, 1959, in Wausau, Wisconsin.

For over 30 years, Jack worked for Crestline in Mosinee. He is remembered for being social at his favorite hangout, Cliffhangers, and for being an avid fan of all Wisconsin sports teams. He took pride in taking care of his yard at home and enjoyed pizza - his favorite being Domino's. Other hobbies include ice fishing on Lake Wausau as well as enjoying fires at home for company or by himself.

Survivors include his daughters, Heather (DJ Johnson) Petrowski and Amanda (Matt) Starub; wife, Denise Petrowski; sister, Julie Friedrich; grandchildren, Pierre Camacho, Alex and Conner Starub; as well as many nieces and nephews and special friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; as well as his brother-in-law, Kim Friedrich.

Celebration of life will be held from 1:00 - 4:00 PM on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at Cliffhanger's Bar, 425 Grand Avenue, Schofield, WI. 

Jack's family is touched by his wish to give the gift of life as a tissue donor upon his passing.
