“Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. For you are just a vapor that appears for a little while, and then vanishes away.”— James 4:14
Like a vapor that rises softly and slips quietly into heaven, Josiah Juedes graced this world for only the briefest of moments — yet left an imprint upon the hearts of his family that will endure for a lifetime. Born still on April 16, 2026, at 34 weeks, Josiah arrived and departed in the same sacred breath, carried from his mother’s arms into the arms of Jesus.
Though Josiah never took first breaths or first steps, his life was woven into the fabric of his family from the very moment of his becoming. He was known. He was wanted. He was cherished. Our hearts find comfort in knowing that this earthly life is but a vapor, while life with God has no end.
Josiah is cherished by his devoted parents, Jacob and Madelyn Juedes, who love him with tender grace, heavy hearts, and unwavering faith. He is also cherished by his brothers, Jackson and Wesley, who will grow up knowing their family holds a piece of heaven — a little brother who watches over them always. His name will be spoken with both joy and tears, and he will forever remain the third son in this family’s story.
He is lovingly remembered by his grandparents, James and Joanne Juedes, Dean Prohaska, and Chris and Mary John; great-grandparents, Ronald and Marie Juedes, Dolores Prohaska, and Bonnie Bishell; along with many loving aunts, uncles, and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents Wilfred and Betty Heindl, Edward Prohaska, and Lyle Langenhahn.
The funeral service for Josiah will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 3:00PM at The Village Church, 1485 Village Way Dr, Kronenwetter, WI. Pastor Leroy Jonas will officiate. A private burial will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family to assist with medical expenses are appreciated.
The same God who knit Josiah together in the womb now holds him in perfect peace. He was never lost; he simply arrived home ahead of the rest.
Ascend Funeral Home & Cremation Care of Weston is assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences may be shared at www.ascendweston.org.
