Lynn Robert Ritchie

July 19, 1953 — April 6, 2025

Weston

Lynn Robert Ritchie, a spirited soul born on July 19, 1953, in the heart of Wausau, Wisconsin, departed from this world on April 6, 2025, leaving behind a vibrant legacy woven with love, laughter, and cherished memories. His life journey, marked by years of dedicated service at Marathon Electric, was underscored by a joyous passion for living that shone brightly in every interaction.

Described as fun and outgoing, Lynn embraced the world around him with an infectious exuberance. He was a man who found joy in simplicity, whether it was the thrill of a hunting expedition, the serenity of fishing at dawn, or the camaraderie of a round of golf. Lynn’s afternoons were often spent in animated discussions at the 19th Hole Tavern, serenading life with laughter alongside his buddies. A loyal fan of local sports, his heart beat in time with the Packers, Badgers, and Brewers, and few things brought him greater pleasure than settling in to watch the beloved game show, The Price is Right at the Hole. He was always willing to give a hand or a "hundy" to anyone that needed it.

Lynn's departure echoes through the hearts of many, yet his spirit endures in those he loved. He leaves behind his cherished siblings: Mary Bradfish and Shirley (Pete) Richter, as well as his brother Thomas (Amie) Ritchie and their circle that included nephews Jason (Amy) Richter, Sam (Joey) Ritchie, Lucas (Nikki) Ritchie, and Cooper (Alanna Schneck) Bradfish. Neices Traci Richter and Cassidy (Andrew) Stroik are part of the tapestry of his family, alongside the delightful presence of his great-nieces Claire & Kinsley Richter and many other relatives and many friends.

He was predeceased by his devoted parents, Henry and Dolores Ritchie, whose love and guidance laid the foundation for the joyful man Lynn became.

As we gather to celebrate Lynn’s remarkable life, we invite all who knew him to join together in remembrance. A Celebration of Life will be held on April 12, 2025, at the 19th Hole Tavern in Schofield, Wisconsin, commencing at noon and resonating with laughter and stories until four o'clock. It will be a tribute to a life well-lived, a testament to the enduring spirit of a man who truly enjoyed life in all its splendor.

Though Lynn has embarked on his next grand adventure, his essence remains interwoven in the fabric of our lives, a reminder to cherish moments, seek joy, and celebrate the beauty of life.
