Mary Ann Wyro

Mary Ann Wyro, age 84, passed away July 18, 2026, at Mount View Care Center, Wausau.

She was born on November 9, 1941, the daughter of the late John and Evelyn (Niemczyk) Spangle, Wausau. She married the love of her life, Jerome Wyro, on November 5, 1960, who later passed away on January 30, 1995.

Mary Ann was a long-time employee at K-Mart in Wausau and later retired from SNE Corp. in Mosinee.

Mary Ann graduated from Wausau High School in 1960. She enjoyed entertaining around her pool and casino trips. Country music was a big part of her life; she spent over 35 years enjoying her husband’s band, Jerry Dee and the Ranchman. She loved spending time with all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include one son, Mark (Karen) Wyro in Weston; two grandchildren, Katie (Pete) Korbisch in Dodge Center, MN, and Calub Wyro in Schofield; eight great-grandchildren, Markea, Jaydin, Korrena, Airiana, Nerak, K’Stin, Pippa and Porrter; one brother, Mike (Mary) Homan in Washington.

A celebration of life for Mary Ann is being held on August 29, 2026, at 2:00pm at Kelly Club, 4810 Ross Avenue, Weston, WI 54476.
