Mary Gosz

Mary Gosz, 60, of Wausau, passed away peacefully at home on September 27, 2026, surrounded by her immediate family. Born and raised in Wausau, Mary cherished her family and the time she spent with them above all else.

Family was at the heart of Mary’s life, and her greatest joy came from the people closest to her. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt who wanted nothing more than to see the people she loved together, laughing, and enjoying life. She also loved being on the water, where she could relax in the outdoors, and make memories with her family.

Mary faced significant health complications in the final months of her life, but she persevered through everything she endured to spend more time with family.

Mary is survived by her husband, Patrick Gosz; her children, Nathaniel Gosz and Anna Gosz; her father, Roger King; and her siblings, Andy King and Sara Kirkby. She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret King.

Mary was a devoted Milwaukee Brewers fan, and she listened to one last Brewers win before her passing. She will be remembered for the love she had for her family, her enjoyment of time on the water, her love of the Brewers, and the memories she created with those who meant the most to her.

A private graveside service for immediate family will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Matthew Catholic Church or Newman Catholic Schools.
