Ronald Mathias Atsch

Ronald Mathias Atsch, affectionately known as Ron, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2025, at the age of 89, in Schofield, Wisconsin. Born on February 7, 1936, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Ron lived a life filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

A proud veteran, Ron served honorably in the Air National Guard, a testament to his commitment to his country and his sense of duty. His service to others extended beyond the military; he was a devoted family man who cherished every moment spent with his loved ones.

Ron had a genuine passion for life, enjoying simple pleasures such as watching Packer games with family and friends, where his enthusiasm and love for the game were infectious. He was also an avid woodworker, crafting beautiful pieces that reflected his skill and creativity. Each project was a labor of love, bringing to life his vision and leaving a lasting legacy of artistry. Hiking and traveling filled his spirit with adventure, allowing him to explore the beauty of nature and create cherished memories with those he loved most.

Throughout his life, Ron was surrounded by the warmth of family. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Barbara Atsch, and their son, Larry Atsch. Together, they created a nurturing environment where laughter and love thrived, and they will forever carry his spirit and teachings with them.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Michael and Martha Atsch, who undoubtedly nurtured and shaped the wonderful man Ron became. Their memories live on in the stories shared about their lives together, a reminder of the bonds that tie families across generations.
