Sally Ann Sigmund

Sally A. (Hebron) Sigmund, 76, of Wausau, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Sunday, October 19th, 2025, under Aspirus Comfort Care & Hospice Services.

Sally was born on September 20, 1949, to the late Harvey and Edna (Dahm) Hebron. She graduated from Wausau High School in 1967. She was employed with Marathon Rubber Products and Road Ready Transfer Service for most of her working career until her retirement in September 2018.

Sally married her best friend and beloved companion, Joseph C. Sigmund, on September 27, 1969, and they recently celebrated 55 years of marriage prior to his passing on February 4, 2025.

Sally's hobbies have been snowmobiling in her younger years, spending time at the cabin since the early 80’s, taking day trips all over Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula with Joe and as of late sewing, and most of all spending time with her children and granddaughter.

Sally is survived by her daughter, Sharla Sigmund of Madison; son, Mark (Lisa) Sigmund and granddaughter Kindal of Arbor Vitae. She is further survived by two sisters-in-law, Patsy (Dale) Klinger of Mosinee and Jeanette (Alan) Graveen of Wausau.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 27, 2025, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 501 Stewart Avenue in Wausau. Rev. Peter Williamson will officiate. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until the time of service at the church. A luncheon will follow in the church parlors. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau. Memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church, Wausau.
