Hatley

Susan Lynn Parisi, born Susan Senior on August 28, 1967, in Camden, New Jersey, passed away unexpectedly on June 3, 2025, in Hatley, Wisconsin. She was a mother, a friend, and a source of endless joy and laughter for all who knew her.

Susan possessed a great sense of humor that could brighten the darkest days. Her laughter was a melody that danced through the hearts of her loved ones, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever resonate.

Susan had an unwavering love for crime dramas. From the first time she sat down to watch CSI she was hooked, and her passion for crime shows grew into an all-consuming hobby. Her encyclopedic knowledge of detective work, plot twists, and the intricate webs of both real and fictional cases was unmatched. She was always ahead of the game, solving mysteries right alongside the detectives. Sometimes even before they did.

A true lover of nature, Susan had a special fondness for frogs, which became a delightful symbol of her vibrant personality. The color green was reflected not only in her favorite hue but also in her ability to grow thriving plants that adorned her home with life and greenery. Her little sanctuary was filled with vines that seemed to reach out like her ever-giving spirit. Additionally, she had a unique affinity for wind chimes, each one a harmonious note in the symphony of her life.

Cooking and baking were more than just hobbies for Susan; they were her passions. She spent countless hours in the kitchen, where her culinary creations were a reflection of her love for family and community. A dreamer at heart, she aspired to open her own food truck, with visions of bringing joy through her delicious dishes and sweet cookies, particularly during the holidays. The aroma of her baked goods and the warmth of her meals were tokens of her affection, nourishing not only the body but the soul.

Susan’s beloved dog, Spencer, has since preceded her in death, leaving a void in her heart that only the memories of their shared moments could fill. Their companionship encapsulated the purest form of love, one that will continue to be remembered fondly.

As we say farewell to Susan, we celebrate the beautiful life she led, the laughter she shared, and the love she spread. Her legacy will live on through her daughters and in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to call her a friend. Though she may be gone from this world, the vibrancy of her spirit will forever remain among us, reminding us to cherish each moment, to giggle often, and to embrace life’s simple joys. May Susan rest in peace, her memory a guiding light for those she leaves behind.
