Teresa Ann Hursh, a beloved figure whose heart and spirit touched all who knew her, passed away on September 20, 2025, in Marshfield, Wisconsin. Born on May 8, 1967, in Oakland, California, she lived a life that radiated love, warmth, and creativity.
As a professional grandmother, Teresa dedicated her life to cherishing and nurturing her family. She held immense pride in her role as a grandmother, a title she embraced with open arms and an overflowing heart. Her devotion was most vividly seen in the laughter and joy of her grandchildren: Liam, Ella, Charlie, Adam, Ewan, and Rowan, each of whom will carry forward the cherished memories of their time with her.
Teresa's caring and outgoing personality endeared her to many. She cultivated relationships with genuine warmth, making her a pillar of support for those around her. In her spare time, she shared her passions through hobbies that revealed her creative spirit. Whether playing bunko, sewing, crafting, scrapbooking, or card making, Teresa found joy in the little things, often bringing others along to share those experiences. Her interest in thrifting and genealogy showcased her adventurous nature and accompanying curiosity about the world and her family's roots.
Teresa is survived by her loving husband, Paul Hursh, and their children: Ashley (Nicholas) Witter, Aaron (Alayna Colip) Hursh, Austin (Rachel) Hursh, and Amanda (Tyler) Spiegel. Each of her children will remember her guidance, her affection, and the many lessons imparted through her actions and love. She is also survived by her dad, Richard Craps, many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Though her life journey is marked with loving memories, she is preceded in death by her mother, Madonna Craps; her sister, Tracy Downing; her grandfather, Lambert Craps; and her grandmother, Norma Craps. These family members will forever be part of her legacy, a testament to the love that spans generations.
