Aislynn J. Ellenberger

Apprentice Funeral Director

Aislynn Ellenberger serves as an apprentice funeral director on the Ascend team. She ensures the service looks as the family would like. Her attention to detail and appreciation for maintaining uniqueness provides families with the assurance that their desires are fulfilled.

“I want to make sure every funeral has that uniqueness, specific to that family.”

Aislynn brings her passion for creativity and desire to serve, to the Ascend team. She grew up primarily in the Schofield area. When she was invited to join the Ascend team, she knew it was the right fit because the team was already like a family. Many on the team are from the same church congregation. She works alongside her father and her former pastor, who are both part of the Ascend team. 

At Ascend she is currently training as an apprentice, learning the ropes of being a funeral director. She is in her second year.

Already in her work she has discovered her main passion in funeral care. She assists in the care that is taken to make the loved one look as they did in their life.

“I want to make sure people in their final moments look the way they did in their final years alive, to represent who they were.” 

When Aislynn, or Ace as she is lovingly called, is not working at Ascend she is enjoying time on her crafts whether it is working on her loom or tackling a wood burning project.
